SML Alliance (Aubertin) Flugelhorn
Couldn't load pickup availability
This flugelhorn was made by Aubertin for the Strasser-Marigaux-LeMaire (SML) company in the 1930's. During this time, SML was stenciling instruments from a number of French trumpet makers like Selmer Paris, Besson, and Aubertin. This flugelhorn is a classic French flugelhorn, and has a light sound and quick response.
There are 2 big patches in the bell (pictured), and the valves also have significant wear. There is little compression in the pistons. The silver plate shows wear at contact points. Despite its age, this instrument has a very nice sound, similar to vintage Besson and Couesnon flugelhorns.
This trumpet is sold as-is.
