Powell Gallery Custom Elite C Trumpet

Fred Powell is best known for designing the Conn Vintage One trumpet line in the 1990's, and has worked with a number of other well-known manufacturers and prominent musicians. Powell trumpets are made from scratch in Elkhart, Indiana, and are individually crafted according to each client's needs and sound concept. This trumpet is a "Gallery Custom Elite" model, which is the top trim from Powell and features a valve block and bell made in Fred Powell's shop along with a reversed leadpipe and Saturn waterkeys. This trumpet is in like-new condition with no dings, dents, or signs of repair. The silver plate is 100% and shows only minor surface tarnish. The valve fit is excellent, and the slides are fast and smooth. This instrument plays with a broad, dark sound, and is an excellent choice for symphonic and chamber playing.
