Buescher Aristocrat 205

The  Aristocrat model 205 was Buescher's top-of-the-line model from 1942-1949. This model features a 2-color bell with a yellow brass stem and red brass flare and is decorated with an ornate engraving. The wrap is slightly different from most trumpets, and has all 3 sets of valve slides on the same side. The lacquer appears to be original, and the valves are also in original condition (nickel plated). The valves and slides move, and have good compression. This trumpet feels easy to play, and tends towards the full, brassy sound that was popular in this era. It is an excellent choice for the big band enthusiast or vintage trumpet aficionado!
